Midnight Sun Festival
"This festival was first celebrated in Lake Worth Beach's Bryant Park in 1983. It was founded by Lake Worth Mayor David Hinsa, who is Finnish-American, to celebrate Lake Worth's rich, century old, Finnish heritage. The greater Lake Worth Beach area has more people of Finnish descent than almost anywhere else in the United States. The Midnight Sun Festival logo was created during a Palm Beach State College class competition and was selected for use as part of the festival's rebranding in 2016.
